President Biden’s foreign policy team this week quietly leaked to its captive media that the proposed “Cease Fire” between Israel and Hamas was dead. Soon after the Hamas invasion of Israel, Biden began dictating to the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, for him to accept a cease fire in the Gaza War. Presumably the cease fire would free Israeli and American hostages that were still alive after being held by Hamas almost twelve months.
Secretary of State Tony Blinken has made ten trips to the Middle East to pressure Israel to cease its efforts to destroy Hamas for good as a threat to its existence. Along with professional adolescent anti-Semitic activists since October 7th, students from elite U.S. universities have added their adolescent, anti-Semitic voices to the fray advocating for Israel’s demise in proclaiming “from the river to the sea”.
Then this week, the Biden foreign policy team refused to push back against the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrants against Netanyahu and his Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant. As far back as the Obama Administration, Democrats have been seeking to get Netanyahu defeated or in any other way removed from office. Speaking from the U.S. Senate in March, Majority Leader Chuck Schummer sharply criticized Netanyahu’s handling of the Gaza War essentially calling for his ouster. Schummer, a Jew of Convenience, is currently holding the bipartisan Antisemitism Awareness Act passed by the House in May hostage until further notice (one-third of the Democratic House members voted against it).
From the onset of the October 7th attack, the Biden Administration has placed no specific pressure on either Hamas or its sponsor, Iran, for release of the American citizens taken hostage on October 7th. After they were taken, the Administration did not demand to both countries that our citizens be released by Hamas forthwith or both would pay a significant price on for their refusal to do so. Instead, the Administration’s position was to push Israel for a general cease fire knowing that Hama’s threat to Israel’s security would be uninterrupted if Israel succumbed to the U.S. cease fire pressure.
Iran proxies, Hezbollah from Lebanon and the Houthis from Yemen, participated with Hamas after October 7th in joint attacks – Hezbollah causing the evacuation of over 60,000 Israeli civilians in northern Israel and the Houthis shutting down Israeli and other Western shipping through the Suez Canal, the Red Sea, and the sea routes to Asia. The U.S. Navy engaged the Houthis missile attacks on Red Sea shipping, but the Administration failed to provide sufficient military resources or have the political will to keep these routes safely open for international shipping.
To any of these proxy threats, Biden and his spokesmen repeated his fatuous one-word foreign policy statement – “Don’t”. Without placing an exclamation point behind it suggests his unwillingness to act to enforce it. Adversaries observed that President Biden cut America’s defense budget each year he was in office while armed forces recruitment needs went unfilled and military efficiency deteriorated to meet his progressive’s DEI social ideologies.
The above incompetent foreign malpractices led by one who President Obama described as “don’t underestimate Biden’s ability to f*ck things up” reminds one of the ‘gang who could not shoot straight’. Or in this case, these Biden apparatchiks were too blinded by their fantasy that Iran would give up its threat to dominate the Middle East by creating nuclear arms capability. They appear unable to open their eyes and create strategic policies to eliminate that threat.
The Biden headed foreign policy gaggle assumed office with a bankrupt Iran encountering massive civilian unrest and riots. Biden’s gang missed this opportunity to undermine the Mullahs instead by rescuing their economy with massive $billions of unwarranted U.S. support in chasing an impossible fantasy dream. Well publicized Iranian foreign policy is to eliminate Israel from the face of the earth. To kill the threat, kill the head is well known geopolitical strategy.
Even before Biden’s election in 2020, the progressive Leftists of the Obama Democratic Party had usurped political power from the disappearing Moderates still left in their Party. The above malpractice in Biden’s Israeli Middle Eastern policies is either a mark of total incompetence or because the Party needs a heavy turnout in the 2024 elections from its anti-Semitic progressive Left partisans – the massive elephant in the room! Only the insider Party elites know which, or both!
Israel fights against Iran and its proxies for its existence while the ‘gang that could not shoot straight’ stands mindlessly in the way. American Jews, who have been longtime, die-hard Democrats, will have to determine whether their true loyalties reside in their 4000 yearlong Jewish heritage or in their more recent partisan political legacy. How they decide in the coming election could place Israeli’s longevity in the balance.
