The United States’ sponsorship of the 2026 World Cup ended this weekend, and most of the millions of sports fans following their teams have returned home. None of the interviews with the foreign visitors reported observing any oppressed American victims of an unjust capitalist system. Instead, most raved about the freedom Americans had, the abundance of low-cost food, air-conditioned everywhere, including massive stadiums, and the friendly openness of Americans they met.
Ironically, the strategy being used to win the 2026 midterm election by the new Democratic/Progressive/Socialist/Communist Party is to convince enough American voters that they are victims of our system. How many soccer fans who recently visited America would agree that those living in the United States are victims?
The original Marxists seeking to reverse American capitalism into Soviet communism were unsuccessful because low-class workers oppressed by an upper-class aristocracy did not exist in our constitutionally based, democratic system with unlimited freedom of movement and private enterprise for betterment.
To create a theoretical basis for American Marxists, Progressives from U.S. academia, using Germanic influence, created with smoke and mirrors a new theory of victims and oppressors, called Critical Race Theory (CRT). CRT theory allowed the creation of new political causes that could be used to enlist followers. Oppressed victims and their oppressors could be from history, like the suppression of native American Indians by their European interlopers onto their continent. As a result, white supremacy over people of color can be used to divide America, which has hosted immigrants of all colors.
Under CRT Theory, Jews, who were victims of Nazi oppression and whose survivors fled to Israel, are now oppressors of the Palestinians in Gaza, an area Israel conceded to them in 1993 as part of the Oslo Accords. Denouncing the creation of a Jewish State within the Holy Lands, as well as their religious faith, is the only way a Jew can hope to retain any status within this new Progressive Alliance, where in 2026 Jews are effectively persona non grata.
The Democratic Party lost many of its working-class supporters when the Republican Party recruited them during the 2016 election. Seeking to replace them, the Progressives recruited all gender mobile individuals and groups, recently overly educated, under-performing university graduates, and older white, former hippies using CRT theories.
When the number from these groups fell short, the Democratic Party, ruled by the progressives, sought during the Biden Administration to open the nation to millions of illegal immigrants, hoping to make them instant voters. When replaced in 2025 by a second Trump Administration, the Progressives sought to prevent any deportations, while demonizing and harassing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, making it a political cause. According to Progressives, immigrants entering our country illegally are now victims of ICE oppressors when facing deportation!
The hardest selling point needed to establish this new political coalition was to convince the larger American public that the U.S. economy is no longer affordable! Biden did his best to make that true with high inflation; now they want to blame affordability on the second Trump Administration.
Attempting to obtain the final votes they need to regain political power, the Progressive Alliance opened its gates to the Mamdani communists of New York City and elsewhere. By making this historical move, they agreed that the entire U.S. system created victimhood and must be replaced. Primary communist candidates defeated establishment Democrats. Except for outlier Senator John Fetterman, moderate Democrats remained silent to the renouncement of our founding Constitution by this once great American Party.
The results of the 2026 Midterms should be a plebiscite of whether Americans think being born in the United States makes a person a victim!
